Patience..

Eason Chan is lucky in a sense that audience appreciates his voice enough to let him experiment with his music, hence his tracks as a little less mainstream and therefore has the liberty to talk about different things, in a different way. Yup i take music seriously even if its pop music. It the music of our time ya? dun discriminate between classical, romantic, pop, hip hop. Whats the point right?
This particular song hits a raw nerve. the lyricist's main theme is on love but its really talking about having patience for everything. and is in tune with a verse i really like from Rainer Maria Rilke:

I beg you…to have patience with everything unresolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves as if they were locked rooms or books written in a very foreign language. Don’t search for the answers, which could not be given you now, because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps then, someday far in the future, you will gradually, without ever noticing it, live your way into the answer… - Rilke

its almost winter solstice and its raining day and night
you've start to doubt your perseverance already
thinking that you'd only be left with a rotten branch in the end
a few sad relationships you've given everything to make them bloom
but someone else managed to harvest instead of you
you really take it badly this time round.
others are talking about how good their lives goes on and asked how is your harvest coming along
you've got to wait and wait some more. even if you fail again you need to hang on.
in the future don't let tears you wept today be fruitless
keep the rocks that were hauled at you and learn from your mistakes
maybe time is just not right yet.
you just have to accept it and maybe when you could brew wine from your grape vine the time might be just right.

part 2 is similar to part 1 and more focused on just love so i am too lazy to translate.

when your wisdom is brewed into wine
you could down your wine to save yourself (too painful, need alcohol ;p)
everyone had a bad day before. who doesn't. (so, its ok)

I just did a literal translation its not pretty enough cos my english sucks.

The lyricist used growing grape vines and brewing wine to talk about perseverance, patience. anyway, I had fun sharing to you... i dun know who's reading maybe no one but nvm, its my online journal for my self indulgence. haha. Hope you like it if you're reading and... have patience, its ok to have a bad day dont take it too seriously.
